I wanted Mirrorless as it seemed to be where photography was going at the time I started and of course the weight and size benefits that come with it. I started on APS-C Sony but in 2022 I upgraded to full frame as I wanted to invest in lenses and by having full frame, I knew I could have longevity if I ever wanted to start a professional career in photography. Of course mirrorless has gone on to dominate the market and I have been happy with my decision to go with Sony and have no plan to change, naturally I do suffer with GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) but for now me and my bank account are happy as we are.
